Bike Week is back once again this June, giving us all with a great excuse to get out there and show off our biking skills.
Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Held over a week in June each year, the event boasts numerous bike-themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout the country.
From free bike checks, fun cycles, lunchtime city rides, heritage cycles, electric bike races, school cycling events, bike festivals, road races and much more, there’s something for every age and ability.
Cycling is fun and is a very flexible form of exercise; whether you’re 6 or 100, anyone can ride a bike. And it’s a perfect chance to spend quality time with family and friends.
A full schedule of events planned for the week in and around Dublin is available on the Bike Week website. Check out what’s going on near you, and join in on the fun at this year’s Bike Week.
Bike Week 2015 runs from 13th – 21st June. And if you don’t have your own bike, you can always hit the road on one of those beautiful DublinBikes!
