Happenings has announced its return to the majestic Killyon Manor for Another New Year’s Eve 2015.
What are you doing for New Years? If you haven’t thought about it yet, it’s probably time to.
After ringing out last year in style, Happenings is back with Another New Year’s Eve at the beautiful Killyon Manor in Co Meath. Teaming up with Homebeat they’ll be bidding this year a fond farewell with dinner, dancing and merrymaking, amidst roaring fires, winding staircases and palatial surrounds.
The final meal of 2015 will be a bespoke menu created by Keith Coleman of The Fumbally. It promises to be both sensory and stunning, served in a casual style, amongst friends in the manor’s glittering 18th-century ballroom.
After dinner the party will really begin. Tongue In Chic will see to the tunes to bring in the new year, followed Buffalo Woman’s Tim O’Donovan DJing into the small hours. In the drawing room there’s a special fireside performance from Nova Collective, and a set from DJ Hula Hoops.
The third dancefloor is the (probably aptly) named Shift Shack. And when you can’t dance anymore retire to the library, where the LINGO poets are reciting poetry and spoken word.
Oh and the dress code is strictly Disco Tweed – that’s sparkly country attire, to you and me.
Tickets starting from €48 + fees are available to purchase online.
