The ever popular TEDx independent series of talks is back at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin this coming September.
TEDxDublin returns on the 13th September to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Grand Canal Square, with an afternoon that promises some great speakers and ‘ideas worth spreading’.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘New Landscapes‘. We live in a world of rapid and constant change. Many things we take for granted today were only pipe dreams a couple of years ago.
This goes for business as well, where innovation isn’t only happening, but new industries are being spawned as a direct result of this innovation as well. These new possibilities and opportunities certainly beg the question – how will we recognise and potenially shape the new landscapes of tomorrow?
TEDxDublin is presented by Science Gallery, and is very much in keeping with their ethos of ‘igniting creativity and discovery where science and art collide’.
“TED” which stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. The TEDx talks came about as a way to promote the dissemination and sharing of ideas on a global basis, and these events are locally organised.
Tickets for TEDxDublin cost from €25 and may be reserved online.
