An event that began in London, Morning Gloryville AM raves have now arrived in Dublin, and are proving to be insanely popular.

Morning Gloryville was born in May last year when Samantha Moyo, an event producer and creative, and Nico Thoemmes, a professional body-worker, came together to create an event for Londoners to change their experience of mornings, clubbing and to increase wellbeing.

Just last July the concept came to Dublin. 350 of us rose early to hit the dance floor, do some yoga and indulge in a healthy breakfast. Some of us availed of free massages and even some free hugs. Now Morning Gloryville is back for the second instalment, on Wednesday August 6th, between 6.30am and 10.30am. Due to huge demand it’s already had to move to a larger venue in The Vaults at CHQ, IFSC.

Yes, this concept is a little foreign to most of us Dubs, so here’s what happens: On arrival, attendees are welcomed by ‘Wake Up Angels’ offering free massages, there are fresh smoothies and coffees, a line-up of DJs and a motivational dance team to get people moving. Or you can do some yoga rather than rave. ‘Dress to sweat’ is the general dress code, but really anything goes. The only rules are sobriety and authenticity, the aim to boost positivity, happiness and productivity of attendees.

Morning Gloryville Dublin will be supporting Headstrong, the Irish charity supporting young people’s mental health in Ireland through its Jigsaw programme.

Morning Gloryville comes back to Dublin
It’s becoming something of a global craze. Morning Gloryville has also launched in New York and is set to launch in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brighton, San Francisco, Paris, Tokyo, West London and Zurich this summer, and in more cities across the globe by the end of the year.

Tickets for the next event are still available online.

Morning Gloryville takes place on Wednesday, 6th August from 6.30am – 10.30am at The Vaults at CHQ, IFSC.
