The Brownbread Mixtape is a monthly live themed show held in the Stag’s Head in Dublin.
The Brownbread Mixtape has been on the go since 2009, entertaining the Dublin public with an eclectic monthly mix of spoken word, music and comedy.
Each Brownbread Mixtape gig has a specific theme, and the organisers invite poets, musicians and spoken word artists to do a performance related to that theme. There are also original comedy sketches worked around the nightly theme.
The guys will be celebrating their sixth birthday on Wednesday, 29th July, upstairs in the Stag’s Head. The theme for this special night will be “Magic”.
Resident MC and performance poet Kalle Ryan will be on the mic to keep the show ticking and kicking as always. Super sidekick Enda Roche will be delivering the sweetly judged decibels.
They have put together a brilliant line up of their favourite performers from the last half-dozen years. For the bargain price of €10 you will get to hear some of the very best musicians, wordsmiths, thinkers and writers working in Ireland today.
