Dub Web Fest, Ireland’s first and only web festival, is accepting submissions, web series, digital stories, and scripts until 15th September.

Dub Web Fest is back for its second edition this coming November, following on from an exciting launch last year.

This year, the organisers plan to surpass the success of the inaugural edition, spurred on by confirmation of the attendance of Game of Thrones actor Eddie Jackson and 12-year old Dubliner Ryan Wyer, director of Aphex Twin’s first music video in nearly twenty years.

Dub Web Fest will host its official launch on Wednesday, 26th October at Bank of Ireland’s “StartLab” in the vibrant digital district of Grand Canal Dock. This event will be invite-only with drinks reception and a chance to network with professionals from the film and digital media industries. On the night Dub Web Fest will reveal exciting news of their new VOD channel and the special guest will be actor, Eddie Jackson.

Established by French filmmaker and web series creator Mikael Thiery and Videography Ireland director Erol Mustafov, the Dub Web Fest combines screenings, masterclasses and panels and aims to promote writers, filmmakers and directors who have chosen the digital platform to express themselves and tell innovative and engaging stories.
