The 2014 Dublin Pride Parade took place in the city centre today, celebrating the rich diversity of the local and national LGBTQ community.

The Dublin Pride parade, the most high profile event of the 10 day Pride festival, was held under the blue summer skies of the capital this afternoon, despite a rather gloomy morning.

This was the biggest parade in the history of the event, with up to 40,000 people taking to the streets of the city, marching from the Garden of Remembrance to Merrion Square.

As well as different LGBTQ groups from around the country, it was interesting to see numerous companies like Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox being represented, as well as the majority of the political parties.

DUBLIN BUZZ was there too to share with you a flavour of the colour and conviviality of the event. Enjoy!
