The RTÉ Concert Orchestra presents the Irish premiere of Pixar in Concert, featuring music from 14 of the studio’s best known feature films.

This May, Pixar in Concert premiers at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will be on hand to perform unforgettable film scores, including those from Toy Story, Cars, Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc.

They will be performing live on stage beneath a big screen playing clips of favourite scenes and characters in HD, allowing the audience to be visually entertained while listening to stunning live music, making it a uniquely memorable experience.

Pixar is an American computer animation studio that has been behind some of the most celebrated movies of the past 25 years. Their films are among the top 50 highest grossing animated movies of all time and have won 15 Oscars, 7 Golden Globes and 11 Grammy Awards between them. Toy Story 3 was the highest grossing animated film, taking in over $1 billion worldwide.

Many famous faces have been the voices behind Pixar’s beloved characters, such as Tom Hanks as the unforgettable ‘Woodie’ and Tim Allen as ‘Buzz Lightyear’ in Toy Story, and Ellen DeGeneres as ‘Dory’ in Finding Nemo.

Pixar in Concert, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra is on Saturday 3rd May at 8pm at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Tickets are priced between €20 and €55 and discounts for children, students, wheelchair users and groups are available.
