The Groove festival returns to Killruddery House this July, with another impressive lineup.
Groove will turn three this year. The family-friendly festival returns to the lovely grounds of Killruddery House, one of Ireland’s best loved estates, situated between Greystones and Bray.
Music spans an impressive array of genres from folk to rock. On the Saturday The Darkness are headlining and the line-up also includes The Riptide Movement, Delorentos, Little Hours, The Cujo Family, Corner Boy and many others.
Kila, Wallis Bird, The Young Folk, Wyvern Lingo and The Eskies are on the bill on the Sunday. Crowd favourite Christy Moore, with Declan Sinnott and Jim Higgins, is set to close Groove for 2015.
Groove also offers plenty of outdoor activities for kids and adults. This year they have the largest mobile climbing wall in Europe, which stands more than nine meters high, and they’re also getting four water zorbs on the Killruddery lakes. The Enchanted Garden is a fun and safe place for kids, fully supervised with lots of activities to keep them entertained.
The Groove Zone is a chill and relaxation area with the Harbour Bar Stage, bar, food, and the beautifully designed water lily pool, naturally surrounded by a 15-foot hedge in the grounds.
There’s no on-site over-nighting at Groove, but the organisers have partnered with local hotels and camping parks for accommodation options. Tickets are on sale now online and at selected stores.
Groove Festival runs over the weekend of 4th and 5th July in Kilruddery House, Co Wicklow.
