Following on from the inaugural Canalaphonic festival in May, the guys are back with an End of Summer party.
For two days last May, the canal banks around Portobello were transformed with Canalaphonic, a festival featuring the best of local music and a great market to boot.
The End of Summer Party announced for Saturday, 19th September will once again feature the Canal Bank Market, which runs from 11am to 6pm with a great selection of some of Dublin’s finest buskers playing throughout the afternoon.
In the evening there will be some great live music with two free gigs in Rathmines, topped off with drinks promotions courtesy of Estrella Damm.
Toast will be hosting three bands who have made names for themselves at this summer’s festivals, includinng KnockanStockan and Electric Picnic – Mother Mooch (Fuzz Rock) // The Witch Trials (Psychadelic Rock/Trip Hop) // Not Monsters (Alternative/Indie Rock).
Meanwhile over in Rody Bolands, our friends from Skyrockit Music present an evening of a more rootsier type of rock, with another three great bands – Mongrel State // Kicking Bird // Aaron Anthony.
The Canalaphonic End of Summer Party is organised by Abner Browns Barbershop in conjunction with Dublin City Council and Dublin City Canals.
It takes place on Saturday, 19th September, in Portobello and Rathmines, starting with the Canal Bank Market from 11am, and live music from 9pm. Free admission. #PlayForPay
