How about a meat-free Sunday? Or a Sunday nut roast? Veggies, vegans and omnivores unite! Dublin’s first Vegfest takes place this November.

Dublin’s Vegfest is a celebration of vegan food, vegetable business and veg culture under one roof for one day: Sunday November 1st (World Vegan Day 2015) at the F2 Centre in Rialto, Dublin 8.

Whether you’re a dedicated vegan, a resolute vegetarian, an all-eating omnivore, or you think a meal without meat does not a meal make, Vegfest is serving up amazing foods, lifestyle talks, music, performance cooking demonstrations, yoga, super foods, samples and ethical products. The first 50 attendees will also receive a free goody bag.

The organisers stress that you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy Dublin Vegfest; you can just hang out eating great food, trying new things and learning about the benefits of a plant-based diet. This isn’t just about converting committed carnivores but about exploring the wide range of plant alternatives and ethical products available, as well as educating those who have gone or are thinking about adopting a vegan or vegetarian diet.

The event takes place from11 am to 5 pm. Tickets are €8 and may be purchased online.
