A new boutique has opened in Temple Bar. If you think it looks familiar then it probably is. Bow has become Scout and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Bow of Powerscourt Townhouse, a Dublin treasure for finding something just off-centre, has relocated to Temple Bar’s Essex Street. The owner, Wendy Crawford, buys and curates a unique collection of high-quality vintage pieces and considered International clothing labels such as Armor Lux, YMC and Grenson. She also sources items from Irish designers such as Manley, Electronic Sheep and 31 Chapel Lane.

Vintage treasures are sourced on regular buying trips to Paris. These are one-off items and carefully selected for their quality and individuality.

La Bougie candles available at Scout Dublin
Bow became Scout out of a need to grow and expand. The vintage collection will grow and there are plans to introduce more interior lines, possibly some menswear. You can already enjoy some household accessories like Danish Tina Ratzer wool blankets and La Bougie candles.

The shop space is stunning – a tiled green exterior, wooden floors and exposed navy blue brick work. You can also shop some of the collection online here.

Bow was a co-op and for those concerned about the gold and jewellery section, fear not. MoMuse now exists in Bow’s location with designer Margaret O’Rourke’s jewellery collection.
