Dublin City Council is laying on a series of free lunchtime concerts in Wood Quay each Thursday throughout July.

What better way to spend your lunchtime than laying in the cool, refreshing grass of the Wood Quay amphitheatre, listening to some great live acoustic music. Dublin City Council has a superb line-up of contemporary live acts scheduled to play each Thursday lunchtime throughout July.

The inaugural Summer Session of 2015 gets underway on Thursday, 2nd July, and features Rob Walsh and Travis Oaks. The following week we have David Keenan and Third Smoke performing.

The wonderful Sinéad White and Cry Monster Cry (pictured above) take to the stage on Thursday, 16th July. O Sister and Bunoscionn will be playing on the 23rd, and Elephant and The Flaws bring the month-long event to a close on Thursday, 30th of July.

Admission to all gigs is free, and concerts start at 1pm, lasting an hour.
