After three years on Broadway and two years in the West End, Once the Musical is coming home!
Set in Dublin, the musical Once has captured hearts around the world with its touching love story, glorious music and irresistible humour. It’s a celebration of music, love, and the great city that inspired it. Now it’s coming home for a run at the Olympia Theatre, from 4th July to 22nd August.
This production is based on the movie of the same name, which was written and directed by John Carney. It will also feature all of the magical songs from the original film, including the Oscar-winning Falling Slowly.
Once is an exhilarating, multi-award-winning musical about seizing life, chasing love and finding joy in making music. It will be a very special experience to see it in its native Dublin.
All told, the cast play some 30 instruments between them on stage, including guitar, cajon, melodica, harmonica, piano, violin, castanets, bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, tambourine, drums, accordion and cello.

Previews for Once the Musical run from 4th to 13th July, and the production runs from 14th July to 22nd August at the Olympia Theatre. Tickets cost from €29.50 and may be reserved online.
