The master of stand-up, Dara O’Briain, returns to Vicar Street this June with his Crowd Tickler show.
Now a household name both in the UK and throughout these parts, Dara O’Briain is back in his spiritual home in Dublin’s Vicar Street for another run of shows this June.
One of the most recognisable faces on TV, he has hosted the hugely successful Mock The Week, The Apprentice You’re Fired, and Star Gazing Live, alongside Professor Brian Cox, for BBC. He was also involved with some more high-brow programming with the likes of Dara O’Briain: School of Hard Sums on Dave and Dara O’Briain’s Science Club for BBC2. You might also remember him on RTÉ once upon a time, with a little show called The Panel.
Dara O’Briain is one of the most charismatic, intelligent, fast-talking and downright funny live performers working today, and you really should try get along to one of his shows — you know you deserve it! According to The Guardian, “His set is a masterclass in intelligent, no-frills stand-up”, and Metro describes him as “Devilishly sharp”.
Dara O’Briain presents Crowd Tickler at Vicar Street in Dublin from 17th to 20th June and again from 24th to 27th June. He will also be back in the venue in September. Tickets cost €30 (including booking fee) and are available online or from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
