The summer of festivals is coming to an end, but what better way to go out than the Another Love Story bash in Killyon Manor this August?
Happenings are the kings of Dublin summer, embracing it like no others this year, with outdoor yoga, mindfulness workshops, and movies under the stars. They will be putting the final jewel in their summer crown with Another Love Story, a weekend festival this August.
Another Love Story will be happening in the lovely setting of Killyon Manor in Co. Meath from August 22nd – 24th in association with Happenings and Homebeat. “Another Love Story is not a festival but a weekend gathering of hearts, minds, ideas and moods,” they say. We like the ring of that. They’ve also said it’s “one big house party with a soundtrack of cutting edge Irish bands and DJs”. House party they say? Big house party? Sounds like something that shouldn’t be missed.
Those acts includes Donal Dineen, Lazertom, Little X’s For Eyes, Sullivan & Gold, Sally Cinnamon and The Brian Quinn Trio. More acts will be announced in the run up to the event and they’re also promising a “Super Secret Super Special Guest”.

Like all the best festivals there’s plenty to occupy your mind and body aside from good music. Naturally there will be an open air cinema and yoga, from the folks that brought us these all summer, and there’s also workshops, talks and occurrences under the headers of preconceptions, misconceptions, altercations, understandings and misunderstandings. Something for just about everybody then.
The delicious folks at The Happy Pear will also be in attendance to nourish festivalers with healthy, ethical and, naturally, happy food throughout the weekend. To rest your head there are camping and glamping options on site with a limited number of showers. For a proper bed, check out ALS’ selection of local B&Bs.
It’s written in the title and it could just be written in the stars; this not-a-festival is all about love, respect, coming together and being nice. It’s almost the final fling of this magical summer. Yes, it takes place the weekend before the big daddy of Irish festivals, but if you’re looking for something a little bit different, look no further.
Tickets are priced at the reasonable price of €80 plus booking fee and may be purchased online.
Another Love Story runs from August 22nd – 24th, in Killyon Manor, Co. Meath.
