Yet Another Love Story

Happenings and Homebeat are bringing us yet Another Love Story this August.

Last year saw the beginning of something special: Another Love Story. This year it’s back in the leafy splendour and sumptuous grounds of Killyon Manor, from August 21st to 23rd.

Another Love Story isn’t just another summer festival, because we already have enough of those. Just enough. ALS promises to be much more – a weekend-long celebration of music, talk, film, food, friends, and… I’ll hand it over to the organisers who put it best:

“It is a total eclipse of the heart wrapped up in the most amazing natural surroundings, sparkling with soft lights, covered in glitter, carried on until the break of dawn & written in sleazy neon across the wall of the ballroom where a great heaving mass of night-time bodies don’t care about tomorrow, because they are together…”

The soundtrack features artists such as Loah, Leo Dresden, Come on Live Long, Buffalo Woman and I Have a Tribe. DJing are David Kitt, Neil Flynn, Nialler9 and Sally Cinnamon. There’s also plenty of other “occurences” occurring, like an open-air cinema, ballroom, dating games, yoga, workshops, a library and there’s lots to talk about too – at the Love Summit.

If you’ve done the big-festival thing already this summer, or that’s just not your thing, then this is for you. It won’t be big and the early bird tickets have already sold out, but tickets priced €110 are still available online.
