As the summer festival season continues, it’s time to laugh your socks off with the Vodafone Comedy Festival in the Iveagh Gardens this July.
The Vodafone Comedy Festival is back, running from Thursday 23rd to Sunday, 26th July, in the superb setting of the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.
The festival is the largest dedicated comedy event in the country and is one of Europe’s best-loved comedy events. Hosting a large line-up of some of the top talent from at home and abroad, as well as some newer acts to the scene, the festival has a total of 80 acts; meaning there will be something to tickle everyone’s funny bone.
Some of the performers taking to the stage in this year’s jam-packed programme include international talent such as US comedians Reginald D Hunter, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney and Michelle Wolf, Canada’s Glenn Wool and Tom Stade and Australia’s Rhys Nicholson and Adam Hills. UK comedians include 8 out of 10 cats star, Jon Richardson, as well as Tim Vine, Nina Conti and Nick Helm. Irish comedy legends Tommy Tiernan, David O’Doherty, Jason Byrne and PJ Gallagher will also perform.
On Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th, acts begin at at 7.30pm across multiple stages and on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th, preceedings get underway from 4pm and 4.30pm respectibely.
