The V&A Pops-up at Kildare Village

In a very exciting collaboration, Kildare Village is hosting a collection of photos from the V&A’s Horst: Photographer of Style.

This autumn there is another good reason for a trip to Kildare Village. Horst: Photographer of Style is putting in an appearance from London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.

The exhibition is a retrospective of the work of the photographer Horst, whose 60 year career spanned the worlds of art, fashion, theatre and high society. The pop-up will feature 20 replica prints of Horst’s fashion shots on display throughout the shopping village.

Expect high fashion from Chanel and Schiaparelli and portraits of Hollywood stars like Marlene Dietrich amidst the great discounts of Kildare Village. The complete exhibition, and the first of the photographer’s work, is at the V&A Museum in London from 6th September 2014 to 4th January 2015.
