For silk and cashmere at great sale prices, you need to put Sian Jacobs’ upcoming sample sale in the Central Hotel in Dublin into your diary.

Sian Jacobs is a Dublin born fashion designer specialising in natural luxury fabrics such as cashmere, silk and linen. She launched her eponymous label in 2008, which has garnered a huge following at home and is now growing in popularity overseas.

Sian Jacobs’ designs are made by a specialist team in Nepal, the centre of cashmere production, and she works directly with the team to ensure the quality and craftsmanship. Sian’s focus is also on sustainability and ethical fashion. Part of her profits are donated to Irish-based charity, Foundation Nepal, which operates in remote Himalayan villages.

The range includes scarves, cardigans, jumpers and tunic dresses. For the sample sale expect dusty pinks, creams and pale greys with a smattering of sequins – all carefully finished by hand.

Sian Jacobs is stocked in Seagreen, Juju, Havana, ellen B and Maven. Silk and cashmere are always buys that should be carefully considered but are completely justifiable: For up to 60% off the retail price, and for one-off pieces, this sale is definitely worth checking out.

The sale takes place at the Central Hotel on Thursday 3rd April from 3pm to 8pm, and Friday 4th April from 10am to 5pm.
