Dublin’s online retailers and design curators are setting up a little summer shed in their homemade for-one-day-only pop-up shop.

The Legge Brothers, Jonathan and Mark, founded their online retail venture Makers & Brothers to sell “objects of use; the simple, beautiful and sometimes nicely odd”. This weekend they’re opening up a shed in their family home in Blackrock to the masses and filling their little courtyard with food, fun and functional design.

Expect the very best lobster roll, with lobster caught off the Louth coast that morning from the local Blackrock Fish Shop, Elderflower cordial refreshments and scoops of Murphy’s Sea-Salt ice-cream with summer berries.

On the fun side there will be ping-pong aplenty and for a workshop by James Carroll (woodworker) on carving wooden spoons.

Makers & Brothers will also be showcasing their new collection of wares, and with their ethos of everyday craft and design, you’ll probably justify a necessary splurge … or two!

The Shed will be open from 10am to 6pm this coming Saturday, 28th June.
