It may still only be August, but Brown Thomas, Dublin’s most fashionable department store, is already gearing up for Christmas!
Brown Thomas officially launched its Christmas Market in Dublin today, giving shoppers the chance to get a head start on their end of year seasonal shopping — in August!
Brown Thomas Group Seasonal Homeware Buyer Edel Woods (pictured above) says “The opening of the Christmas Market is always a very exciting time as we showcase exclusive gift ideas, bespoke decorations, signature table settings and sweet treats.”
She continues, “We’ve actually been working on this year’s Christmas Market since Christmas last year to ensure we offer our customers the most extraordinary pieces and remain the first choice destination for those looking to purchase the finest as early as possible.”
“We open the Christmas Market around this time every year as it satisfies customer demand,” says Brown Thomas Managing Director Stephen Sealey. “Plenty of shoppers are keen to get organised early – our customers include hoteliers and interior designers who are planning for the Christmas period now. Generally we find that there’s a great response from customers to opening in August especially tourists who are eager to buy pieces they can’t get at home”.
The themes for this year’s Christmas Market at Brown Thomas include, ‘Ice Palace’, ‘Venetian Winter’, ‘I Love Candy’ and ‘Santa’s Journey’.
So, come visit the Brown Thomas winter wonderland, filled with Christmas trees and trim, seasonal decorations and festive food. Ho, ho, ho indeed!
