After a successful debut last year, the Smock Alley Christmas Fayre returns this year as a full weekend event with festive treats for everyone.

On December the 5th and 6th, the spectacular Smock Alley Banquet Hall will be brimming with festive market stalls selling everything from crafts and jewellery to clothing and books – the perfect place to find a Christmas present or enjoy some mulled wine and a mince pie.

Occupying a central position at the heart of Temple Bar’s Old City area, the fair is a rare opportunity for Smock Alley to join forces with neighbouring shops and the Designer Mart on Cow’s Lane.

There will be plenty to occupy all ages, with readings by lamplight and screenings of festive film favourites including Elf, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, Bad Santa, and It’s a Wonderful Life; all set to a selection of seasonal songs and carols performed by Smock Alley’s ensemble-in-residence, Tonnta Music.
