The second instalment of Dublin’s FuckUp Nights takes place in Dun Laoghaire with Fuckpreneurs from the arts, advertising, and business.

FuckUp Nights (or F.U.N for short) started back in 2012 in Mexico City. These nights now take place on a monthly basis in over 100 cities worldwide, giving people the opportunity to talk about their biggest professional or business failure in a candid way.

At each FuckUp Night event, Fuckupreneurs share their stories of failure in an attempt to enable us break free from the stigmas surrounding “failure”, and to see it as a positive step that everyone must overcome on the road to success.

For this second Dublin FuckUp Night, Dublin2020 and Artistic Entrepreneurship have lined up four great guests, including:

Jo Mangan, CEO of The Performance Corporation, a theatre and festival production company. Jo works as a director, programmer and creative consultant.

Sean Hillen is now recognised as one of the most significant artists of his generation, becoming known for photomontage works based on his own gritty documentary photos from the Northern Irish ‘Troubles’, which have since have become more widely-known and studied as ‘masterworks’ of the medium.

Vanessa O’Loughlin is Ireland’s leading literary scout, and has assisted many award winning and best-selling authors to publication, including Jax Miller whose deal for Freedom’s Child was the hot news at the 2014 London Book Fair.

Roisin Markham – Artist, Facillitator, Educator. Roisin Markham is a multi-disciplinary artist, facilitator and educator with 20 years experience working with groups, developing programs and delivering projects and events.
